This year St Ignatius School and Parish celebrate 120 years of Catholic education in Toowong.

St Ignatius Catholic Primary School & Parish is celebrated 120 years of Catholic education in Toowong. The 120 years includes St Michaels and Holy Souls / Toowong Convent School located in Holland Street, Toowong from 1893—1930 and on the school’s current site on Grove Street, Toowong.

On Sunday 30 July 2023, the afternoon commenced at 3pm with Welcome and blessing of the St Ignatius School’s new mural by Fr Wrex Woolnough, PP. The school choir and band performed the School song. Then Senior students led tours of the current school and memorabilia was on display in the Hall. The Sunday 5pm Mass, celebrated by Fr Wrex, was attended by both current and former students, staff and families of St Ignatius School and parishioners. Followed by a sausage sizzle on Susan Palmer Field.
