Archdiocesan Commission on the Liturgy.
After the success of last year’s training day for liturgical musicians, the Archdiocesan Commission on the Liturgy is delighted to invite registrations for the 2022 Liturgical Musicians’ Training Day.
Date: Saturday 6 August 2022
Time: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Venue: St Laurence’s College, South Brisbane
A series of workshops will be offered in the following streams with a focus on formation in practical musical skills for liturgical musicians:
- Vocals
- Organ
- Keyboard
- Guitar
- Choral
Workshops will be conducted by experts in the field who are not only church musicians, but also professional working musicians.

During registration process you select which workshops you wish to attend. There is also a link on this page to purchase either an individual or a group ticket).
Registration will take place outside the Chapel.
Details about which rooms are to be used for each workshop will be given at the registration desk. All rooms will be accessible without the need to travel up or down stairs.
Parking is available in the Mater Hospital Carpark. Take the lift to Level 6 to arrive at the level of the Chapel, next to Gair Field. (Please ask at the Registration desk for a subsidised parking ticket.). Free parking is available on Savio Oval, entrance on Stephens Road St Laurence’s is also a short walk from Mater Hill Bus Station and from Southbank Train Station
