To celebrate the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality on Thursday October 9, 2025, parishioners and friends of the Parishes of Toowong, St Lucia and Indooroopilly will take a bus trip to Marian Valley just outside Canungra. Marian Valley is a sacred place, under the care of the Pauline Fathers who established the site in 1995. While it is primarily a Shrine to Our Lady Help of Christians, it is much more than that. It is a place where people from many parts of the world have built shrines, statues and chapels. Each year, thousands of pilgrims come to celebrate feast days, attend retreats and various ethnic communities celebrate their annual pilgrimage days with their religious and cultural traditions.
