Parish Collection at Masses.

Collection baskets are shared during Parish’s Sunday Masses for collection of Parish Thanksgiving envelopes, loose notes and coins.

CBA Smart Terminals have been installed by our Parish at both St Ignatius Church (two) and Holy Spirit Church (one).

These devices are positioned inside the church doors, at Sunday Masses, to receive your electronic donations.

It’s great option for those wanting to give, but not carrying cash to put in the collection basket.

Instructions on how to donate using this device are located on the stand where device is position for Sunday Masses, however if you require any assistance with using the device, please speak to the Sacristan (at the Mass you are attending).

Thank you.

St Ignatius Parish Endowment and St Ignatius Parish Music Endowment.

As we look to the future needs of our Parish we must ensure that our primary ministries and programs continue to thrive.

Therefore, it is with great enthusiasm that I join with our Parish Finance Committee to inform you about the creation of two perpetual endowment funds that will support the mission of the Parish for future generations:

the St Ignatius Parish Endowment and the St Ignatius Parish Music Endowment.

An endowment is a fund in which the principal deposit is permanently invested for growth and never spent down. Each year the fund distributes a percentage of the balance back to the Parish for mission (currently 5%).  As the fund matures over time through investment growth and contributions, the distributions increase and become a steady stream of annual income for the good works of our Parish.

The Parish Fund will support the ministries and programs of the Parish in perpetuity and the Music Fund will provide funding to the St Ignatius Music Program to ensure our music ministry continues to engage parishioners for generations to come.

My hope is that these funds will continue to grow with gifts from parishioners over the years.  For example, leaving a gift to the Endowment Fund in your Will is a meaningful way to build up the Fund and financially sustain our Parish for generations to come.

This is a way for parishioners, who believe in sharing their gifts and reaching out to others, to leave a legacy of care and support far beyond their lifetime. I hope that each of you will prayerfully consider a gift in your Will as a special offering to our new Parish Endowment Funds.

Thank you for your ongoing commitment and generosity.

God bless, Fr Gregory Jacobs SJ
